Complete Guide to Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon – Discover All Relics and Their Locations

In Remnant 2’s The Dark Horizon DLC, players can discover two new relics: the Gossamer Heart and the Latent Relic. However, acquiring these items requires significant effort and exploration throughout the DLC content. This guide provides detailed instructions on how to find all relics available in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon.

To obtain the Gossamer Heart Relic, you will first need the Crop Sample, which is found in N’Erud. Ensure you have the DLC installed, as this item is exclusive to it.

To find the Crop Sample, make your way to the Detritus Foundry area. Look for a circular room; the Crop Sample is located within this area. Below it lies another chamber accessible through an elevator that connects the two spaces.

Once you descend, you will encounter two statues—one red and one blue. Place the Crop Sample at the blue statue, then progress through the DLC story or defeat a boss to refresh the dungeon. Return to this location afterward to collect your reward, which is the Gossamer Heart Relic.

When equipped, the Gossamer Heart Relic enhances your evade ability, adding one extra frame to the window. Furthermore, it provides an additional two frames bonus for the next 15 seconds whenever you use it.

2. How to Acquire the Latent Heart

You can access The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2 either through One Shot Adventure Mode or normally. The One Shot mode may not allow you to access all collectibles; notably, the Latent Heart Relic is available only in standard mode.

Avoid starting the DLC in One Shot Adventure Mode. Instead, after your character falls from the lift during a cutscene, you’ll observe a nearby area illuminated with purple lights. This section remains inaccessible in One Shot Adventure Mode, so ensure you’re playing normally.

Inspect the room for two missing devices. If you see more or fewer, restart until only two are absent.

Upon finding two devices missing from the panels, two optional dungeons will become available—Dormant N’erudian Facility and Terminus Station—for you to explore.

Explore these dungeons to find the missing devices. Since world generation is random in regular mode, specific locations can’t be provided as they differ with each playthrough. If you had accessed these items in One Shot Mode, we could have specified exact locations as world leveling would remain unchanged.

As you enter the Dormant N’erudian Facility, look for a locked door immediately near the World Stone. The key to this door can be found within the dungeon itself.

Advance through the dungeon until you reach its far-left side. There, you’ll encounter a small opening that allows you to drop down. Continue exploring until you find an elevator leading you to the control room, which contains the Biome-Control Glyph.

Take the Biome-Control Glyph back to the World Stone at the dungeon’s entrance. Use the glyph to unlock the door and obtain the Memory Core 2 item.

Searching the Terminus Station for the Decorum Cipher

Upon reaching the Terminus Station, board the train and clear out each car by defeating enemies as you progress. After advancing through several cars, you will come across a World Shard where you can save your progress.

Close to the World Shard, you will see some hanging cables and a small gap to crawl through. Make your way through this opening, climb the ladder, and on your left will be an entry point into one of the train cars. Inside, you should find the Decorum Cipher.

Once you have both necessary items, return them to their designated slots as previously explained. Each collected item will deactivate a purple barrier that obstructs your path. Once both barriers are removed, you will obtain the Repair Tool Hand Gun and the Latent Heart in Remnant 2.

Activating the Latent Heart Relic enables your character to absorb 95% of incoming damage for five seconds. After this period, the wearer will endure 10% of the absorbed damage per second for the following ten seconds.
