Complete Guide to Tamable Animals and Their Locations in Enshrouded

Farming Comes to Life in Enshrouded

With the latest Frozen Frontiers update, players can now enhance their homesteads in Enshrouded through an exciting farming feature. This update allows for the taming of charming creatures from the hills of Embervale — as long as they don’t see you as dinner!

The introduction of four unique animals to the existing roster further enriches the gameplay experience. While some of these animals can be freely tamed, others are accessible solely through specific quests.

Currently, there are eight animals you can tame in the enchanting world of Enshrouded:

  • Goat
  • Cat
  • Dog
  • Hophare
  • Flightless Redtail
  • Fae Deer
  • Yak
  • Frizzy Goat

While some creatures like the Fae Deer and Hophare are easier to spot in the Revelwood Forests and Springlands, others, such as the Cat and Dog, can only be obtained via quests. The Yak and Frizzy Goat, meanwhile, graze peacefully in the snowy expanses of the Albaneve Summits.

A crucial tip for prospective animal tamers is to avoid the Shroud, populated solely by fearsome Fell enemies. These creatures are absolutely not recommended as pets!

Interestingly, you can tame the Frizzy Goat using the same Goat Food Bait that’ll work for regular Goats!

Creating a Cozy Sanctuary for Your Animals

Once you’ve successfully tamed your companions, establishing a comfortable habitat for them is essential. The farmable creatures, including Hophares, Goats, Yaks, and Flightless Redtails, thrive best in enclosed spaces like paddocks. Furnish their homes with beds, which can be crafted using three Twigs and five Plant Fibers.

Happy animals are productive animals. Failing to maintain their comfort will hinder the resources they provide. Remember, while Cats and Dogs don’t require a paddock, they still deserve cozy accommodations. Craft them beds and food bowls to ensure their contentment.

Cat Food Ingredients:

  • 1x Raw Wolf Meat
  • 4x Stinging Nettle

Dog Food Ingredients:

  • 1x Raw Game
  • 4x Dried Purple Berry

Now that you are equipped with knowledge about where to find and care for the tamable animals in Enshrouded, you can look forward to creating a vibrant animal sanctuary on your farm!
