How to Utilize Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

As previously outlined, to access Mystery Gift, you’ll need to progress in gameplay for about one to two hours until it becomes available. Specifically, you need to arrive at the first Poke Center.

After reaching the Poke Center, press X to access the menu, navigate to the Poke Portal, select Mystery Gift, and choose your method for receiving items—either via Internet or by entering a Code/Password.
