Complete The Mechanic Quest in Star Wars Outlaws: A Step-by-Step Walkthrough

In Star Wars Outlaws, NPCs are crucial to the main storyline. As you evade the authorities or seek new planets to explore, you’ll encounter significant characters who assist you in various missions. One key figure is Selo Rovak, known for providing speeder upgrades.

When Kay Vess meets Selo Rovak for a speeder upgrade, she will assign you a task: infiltrate the Imperial Wind Harvester and retrieve the Atmospheric Accelerator, also known as The Mechanic quest.

The Mechanic Location

First, complete The Expert Intel to identify The Mechanic’s location, with the new details appearing in your Journal and Map. Proceed to Jaunta’s Hope and visit Daruda’s Diner. You can refer to your map for markers.

Reach the Imperial Wind Harvester

After your discussion with Selo, move toward the Wind Harvester, which is located west of Selo’s shop and easily accessible.

At the Harvester’s entrance, interact with the switch nearby to disable the air vent, allowing your entry. Use your speeder to navigate through the pathway until you reach a turn. Leave your speeder here and continue on foot.

Once inside, drop down and take the lower path, where you will soon encounter a red barrier. Use Nix to disable it and proceed further.

Climb the ladder and continue straight down the hallway until you reach the end. Drop down and turn left, jumping onto the larger pipes. Here, you’ll notice similar air vents. Observe their movement patterns and run past when the fans stop. If you get caught, you may be blown onto the pipes, so stay alert.

Jump down to the platform below and locate a yellow generator to shoot, stopping the fan’s operation. Continue along the path until you find a giant exposed pipe.

Use the opening to descend and advance forward until you find a narrow opening to squeeze through.

Next, you’ll encounter moving metal blocks. Time your movements carefully to cross over.

Jump onto the grill to access the top-left platform and use your grapple hook to reach the highest platform.

You’ll face those metal blocks again, so navigate to the opposite side, climb up, and enter the air vent.
