This Pokémon Go glitch, which players are calling “awesome,”is allowing them to complete the entire GBL Timed Research in just one battle.
The community of Pokemon Go players is known for not hesitating to inform Niantic, the developer, about in-game bugs and glitches. Whether it’s minor bugs or major game-breaking glitches, the devs are constantly notified of issues that require immediate patching.
Nevertheless, the latest bug that has been the subject of discussion and attention within the PoGo community is actually proving to be advantageous for players. As a result, it has been affectionately referred to as “wild”and “awesome.”
As a component of the latest Shared Skies Season, Pokemon Go has debuted a fresh Go Battle League (GBL) meta. This allows trainers to showcase their most powerful Pokemon and compete for victories and exclusive rewards.
Rewarded 58 wins for GBL Research from one win byu/Poison_Nectar inpokemongo
In a recent Reddit post, user Poison_Nectar shared their experience of encountering a frustrating lag in the game, which turned out to be a glitch that led to them receiving significant rewards for completing timed research after just one battle.
“About halfway through the game, I realized it was very laggy, but I continued playing and ended up winning. Suddenly, I received a stream of 6 research completions for levels 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 of the GO Battle League Timed Research. Additionally, I also completed the 30 Great League battles for the Level 44 Requirements.”
The original poster provided evidence of the glitch by sharing a photo of the rewards they had received, and other trainers also shared their encounters with this bug. Although it has been present in the game for a while, it has recently gained even more significance in the GBL meta.
“According to a Reddit user, this is a known bug and they express a strong desire to be able to reproduce it because they want to experience it for themselves.”
One person also stated, “My phone glitched and all the GBL steps were completed, just like what happened to you.”
Despite appearing to be a glitch that Niantic will address in the near future, its consistent presence in the game suggests that it may remain for the time being.
