How to Complete the Courtesy Visit Task in Escape from Tarkov
The Courtesy Visit quest includes the following objectives:
- Locate the chairman’s house in the abandoned village on Shoreline.
- Locate the fisherman’s house in the abandoned village on Shoreline.
- Locate the priest’s house in the abandoned village on Shoreline.
- Survive and extract from Shoreline (not a “run through”).
You have the flexibility to complete these objectives in any order, and you don’t need to rush to finish them. As long as you complete them all in a single raid and survive to extract from Shoreline, you’re good to go. If this is the only task you’re tackling on Shoreline, consider using a light loadout. Avoid engaging in conflicts occurring in the village or the resort. Instead, focus on navigating the abandoned village.
The abandoned village is located in the northwest section of Shoreline, close to the Path to Lighthouse extraction. If you spawn by the tunnel, follow the corner of the map heading north until you reach the village. Keep in mind that the area is swampy, so avoid walking on puddles to prevent moving slowly as if you’re in quicksand.
Chairman’s House Location
To avoid confusion in the abandoned village with its numerous houses, start with the chairman’s house. If you follow the guidance provided, the house displayed in the image should be your first encounter. Enter the house to complete this objective.
Priest’s House Location
After exiting the chairman’s house, head straight from the main entrance. Continue running straight until you spot the priest’s house. Inside, there will be a dead body that you can loot, which will fulfill the objective. These Dead Scav bodies often contain valuable items, making them a great option for quickly earning Roubles if you are doing jacket runs on Shoreline.
Fisherman’s House Location
Once you exit the priest’s house, return to the chairman’s house. Stay close to the opposite side of the chairman’s house and move straight north towards Shoreline (aiming for the Path of Lighthouse extraction). The first house you encounter while walking straight will be the fisherman’s house. You don’t need to enter it to complete the objective; simply approach the back with the “nicer-looking” fence, and this will finish the task.
