The eerie side quest, Lost in Madness, can be undertaken in Once Human. This mission is available in Coastside Plaza, which is situated southeast of the Monolith of Greed in the Dayton Wetlands.
To commence the mission, ignite the red candles on the floor inside ‘BNMart’ store, which can be found across from the hospital at Coastside Plaza.
1. How to complete the Lost in Madness quest in Once Human?
To successfully finish the Lost in Madness quest in Once Human:
- Retrieve the treasure map belonging to the Cultist from the chest once the candles have been lit.
- Explore and navigate the treasure map to find the Believer Colony in Chalk Peak.
- Please proceed to the Believer Colony.
- Discover the wooden huts that are linked by a bridge.
- Search for the Cultist Treasure chest on the second floor of one of the buildings.
- Unlock the chest to gather Eclipse Cortex, Energy links, and additional loot, and successfully finish the quest.
Reading the Cultist Treasure Map and Finding the Location
Once you have obtained the Cultist treasure map, access your inventory and interact with it. This will open the map in a larger window, revealing an ‘X’ mark.
The precise location of this place is within Believer Colony. Please refer to the map below for further details.
The elevation of this location is advantageous, making it ideal to travel by motorcycle to arrive here.
3. Finding the Cultist Treasure in Once Human
Upon encountering a few abandoned shacks, containers, a rickety windmill, and being met with gunfire from enemies, you will know that you have arrived at the correct location. Prioritizing the elimination of all enemies in the vicinity before embarking on your quest for treasure is advisable.
After removing them, proceed down the designated path that is located across from the wooden windmill. Here, you will come across two wooden houses that are joined by a bridge.
Ascend to the second level of the second house on the right. There, you will discover the Cultist treasure chest nestled between two wooden desks. Use the ‘F’ key on your keyboard to unlock it.
The chest holds 390x Exp, 100x Energy Links, 105x Battle Pass Exp, 3x Stellar Planula, and 1 Eclipse Cortex Lv.1.
Upon the chest opening, the quest ‘Lost in Madness’ will be marked as completed.
