Conor McGregor brutally roasts Max Holloway’s UFC 300 shorts

In a now-deleted social media post, Conor McGregor made fun of Max Holloway’s UFC 300 shorts, which feature a floral design. The Irish fighter poked fun at the ‘Blessed’ fighter’s choice of attire for the highly-anticipated MMA event.

Holloway announced that he has chosen to wear a personalized pair of floral shorts for his upcoming UFC 300 bout against Justin Gaethje. The unique attire caught the eye of McGregor, who responded with a laughing emoji to a social media post showcasing the design.

Holloway was highly conscious of McGregor’s reaction, as he opened his UFC 300 press conference by directing a question to the ‘Notorious MMA’.

“Prioritizing, Holloway emphasized the importance of inquiring with Conor about the subject of his laughter in the Instagram comment. He also expressed his hope that Conor may receive Lucky Charm shorts or something similar, congratulating him on his good fortune.”

Despite having been deleted, McGregor previously posted a photo on X (formerly known as Twitter), showcasing a pair of shorts adorned with images of dollar bills. Along with the photo, he added the caption, “US dollar bill shorts for me”in reaction to Holloway’s remarks.

Holloway expressed his admiration for the design of his shorts, stating, “I loved it.”He also mentioned that the process of creating the design was fast and efficient, and he hopes to continue wearing it for future fights, starting with UFC 300. However, he remains open to any changes that may occur in the future.

McGregor will not be participating in the fight, however, he has confirmed at the age of 35 that his long-awaited return to the UFC has been approved and he will be facing Michael Chandler this summer.

Notably, the highly anticipated Holloway vs Gaethje match is just one of the thrilling fights that fans can anticipate at UFC 300. The main event, featuring Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill, will surely top off what promises to be an unforgettable night of bouts.
