Conor McGregor wants to see a UFC star in Bare Knuckle Boxing

Conor McGregor recently shared his vision for Bare Knuckle Boxing and expressed his enthusiasm for the potential crossover of UFC fighter Justin Gaethje into the BKFC promotion.

During April’s BKFC Knucklemania 4 event, it was revealed that McGregor Sports and Entertainment had acquired a minority ownership in the promotion, joining Triller as its majority shareholder.

Despite his prior success in the UFC, McGregor also engaged in a face-off with bare knuckle star Mike Perry, and even expressed his desire to eventually participate in the promotion.

Despite McGregor still having two fights remaining on his UFC contract and headlining June’s UFC 303 event in Las Vegas against Michael Chandler, it is unlikely to happen in the near future.

After witnessing the impressive development of the UFC under the guidance of Lorenzo Fertita and Dana White, McGregor is optimistic about his potential to make a similar impact on BKFC.

After becoming intrigued by the matchmaking, I started talking to my team and even attended a show where I had the chance to meet Feldman in person. I have faith in David Feldman and his impressive vision, as expressed to The MacLife.

The matchmaking has been excellent and his work with it has been remarkable. After a productive discussion, we decided to join forces and become a strong presence in this industry.

“I was mentored by Lorenzo Fertita and Mr. Dana White and had the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time with them. Together, we traveled around the world.”

Their main focus was to attract people to the live event as they were confident in the impressive features of their product. The excitement inside the cage was undeniable. Once a fan experienced the event in person, they were hooked for life. I strongly believe that Bare Knuckle also possesses that same allure.

As you enter the arena, the grandeur of the high-end promotion can be quite overwhelming. The dazzling lights, the presence of ring girls, the dramatic theatrics, and the spectacular fireworks all add to the excitement. And then, as the fighters make their way to the ring, their bare hands leave a lasting impression, adding to the overall awe-inspiring experience.

Lorenzo was discussing something that I can completely identify with. I can now confidently say that I have found the same thing with Bare Knuckle as they had with the UFC.

“Frequent topics of discussion with Lorenzo and Mr. White were the characters and fighters we had, as well as the fascinating life stories they could share. These individuals were very interesting and added depth to our conversations.”

It is an undeniable fact that there is no character more intriguing than someone who is willing to enter the ring and engage in a Bare Knuckle fight.

“The live events have the ‘wow’ factor, and now our focus is on developing the athletes and sharing their stories with the public, a task that I will be involved in.”

“As we continue to expand and attract more fans, our focus remains on bringing people to the arenas and driving growth. It’s an exhilarating time for Bare Knuckle as we are still in the developing phase, and I am thrilled to be involved. The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has captured the attention of the global audience.”

As previously stated, Perry is among the many former UFC fighters who have successfully moved on to BKFC. McGregor also believes that UFC lightweight star Justin Gaethje would be a great addition to the Bare Knuckle scene.

“McGregor pointed out that many former UFC champions and veterans have transitioned to other mixed martial arts promotions, continuing to fight in the MMA world. To him, this lack of change in their fighting style is unimpressive.”

“We can now consider the potential of Justin Gaethje, a seasoned UFC fighter who has held titles such as BMF and interim champion, competing in a Bare Knuckle event. This prospect is highly thrilling. However, if we were to place him in a different MMA organization, the level of excitement may not be the same.”
