Conor McGregor warns fighters about copying Jake Paul

Ever since entering the world of boxing, Jake Paul has faced numerous critics who have dismissed his accomplishments and attempted to provoke him with verbal attacks. Despite being a UFC fighter, Conor McGregor has been one of his loudest opponents.

To begin with, McGregor was hesitant to participate in Jake’s trash talk, but he has since become more open to it. He has referred to both Jake and his brother Logan as “dingbats”and has directly confronted Jake on multiple occasions.

The Irishman has cautioned fellow fighters against emulating Jake’s career and becoming a “YouTube fighter,”instead encouraging them to strive for greater achievements.

In an interview on the This Life Of Mine show with James Corden, McGregor expressed his concern about the rise of YouTuber fighters in the industry. He advised aspiring athletes, both men and women, to aim for world titles instead of following in the footsteps of these internet celebrities. McGregor believes that achieving world titles is the true path to making a lasting mark in the history of the sport.

The renowned Irish fighter expressed that receiving “a few likes”on social media holds no real value. He noted that while it can bring financial gains, it lacks depth. He also observed a growing trend among young fighters who are not interested in competing in amateur events or working towards winning a national title. According to him, it is crucial for a fighter to earn a gold medal and have their name engraved on a championship belt.

Despite preparing to face Mike Tyson in July, it wouldn’t be surprising to witness Jake responding to McGregor at some point.

Despite his lack of fear in the past, he undoubtedly would relish the opportunity to add a victory against McGregor to his professional record – if it were possible to arrange.
