Content Creator Detained for Allegedly Sharing Intimate Photos of Former Partner on Podcast

A content creator and host of a podcast has been taken into custody for reportedly livestreaming sensitive photographs of a woman he is acquainted with to a guest on his show.

At the age of 37, Aaron Imholte serves as the host of the Steel Toe Morning Show, a popular YouTube podcast with a subscriber count of over 13,000.

During a live broadcast of the podcast in May, Imholte was reportedly caught sending a sensitive image of a woman to his guest, leading to the exchange that followed.

“Imholte asked if you had checked your phone.”

“After viewing the image, the guest admitted that they liked tattoos more than they initially thought.”

“Your son didn’t do too poorly, did he?”Imholte replied.

The incident was discovered by the woman and subsequently reported to the police. As a result, Imholte is now facing criminal charges for “unauthorized dissemination of sexual images.”

The defendant stated in the complaint, which was provided to FOX 9 Minneapolis, that she and Imholte utilized the ‘Signal’ app to communicate for several months before their relationship deteriorated.

After the aforementioned breakdown, during which Imholte allegedly made negative comments about the woman on his show, he proceeded to share her photos on the show without her consent, according to the complaint.

Despite Imholte’s claims that he has no memory of sending or receiving any images, he informed the police of the situation. As a result, he was granted a $75,000 bond and was given a no-contact order.

The defendant is prohibited from posting any negative remarks about the defendant online or on his podcast, and must also stay at least 500 feet away from her residence as stated in the order.

Despite the incident, Imholte has continued to host his podcast. In a September 5 episode, he briefly acknowledged the incident and expressed gratitude towards his fans for their support. However, he made it clear that he would not be elaborating on the matter any further.

“I am extremely grateful for your incredible generosity and kindness. The outpouring of support and messages I have received is overwhelming. Many individuals have expressed interest in joining my team, which is truly humbling. It is clear that others recognize the value of what I am doing.”

In recent times, there have been multiple instances of YouTubers being arrested for their content, and Imholte is not an exception to this trend.
