Controversial TikTok Video Leads to Waitress’ Termination

A waitress was fired after a TikTok video of her recording a man on a date with a blow-up doll went viral.

The restaurant industry workers often share the strange and ridiculous situations they encounter at work. However, one server’s disclosure caused her to face consequences.

On May 27, a TikTok user who identifies as ‘Tbone’ uploaded a video that quickly went viral. She had witnessed something so unbelievable that she felt compelled to share it.

“Although it goes against the rules, I feel compelled to make a TikTok at work. I am employed at a lovely restaurant in Charlotte and I want to share with all of you what just arrived at our doorstep,”she elaborated.

After briefly introducing the topic, Tbone shifted the camera to reveal a man seated with a blow-up doll on the chair in front of him.

Despite the waitress’s shock, the video quickly gained popularity, garnering over 2.5 million views and eliciting numerous bewildered comments from viewers, causing it to go viral.

One person joked about the man being on his phone and ignoring his “date,”pointing out that he wasn’t actively engaging with her.

“I also need to find out what she ordered,”added another person.

Despite Tbone’s statement that management did not handle the situation, it appears that this is not entirely true. It has been revealed that the waitress who filmed the clip was fired, suggesting that management did take some form of action in response to the incident.

In an interview with the Charlotte Observer, the TikToker elaborated on her choice to share the video, stating that either it would receive no attention and she would be unaffected, or it would go viral and potentially lead to her dismissal.

Fortunately, she insists she was “prepared for fresh chances”regardless, so being fired wasn’t “too surprising.”

It was later discovered that the man carrying a blow-up doll was simply not skilled in fantasy football. This was confirmed through his own TikTok video and a comment on Tbone’s video, where he announced, “I DID NOT WIN MY FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE.”

In many cases, the individual who finishes last in a fantasy football league is required to participate in a humiliating activity as a consequence.

In the video, he can be seen laughing and being a good sport about the entire situation as he shares images of his “date.”

Fortunately, the waitress was not too bothered by the incident with the doll, although she did mention that she was taken aback by the extent to which the situation spread across the internet.
