Controversial YouTuber Westen Champlin fined after police called to burnout contest

YouTuber Westen Champlin received a fine when the police repeatedly arrived at his backyard burnout contest.

With a whopping 3.5M subscribers, Champlin has built up a considerable fan base through his wild and unconventional stunts featuring various cars and trucks.

On June 16, 2024, Westen shared a video featuring numerous cars performing burnouts within the designated area of his shop parking lot. The police were called multiple times during the filming.

Following the passage of six loud, heavily customized cars on the burnout pad, the YouTuber was summoned to the front of the premises upon being informed of the police’s arrival.

“Westen inquired, “To what extent are they angry?”One of his team members clarified that they are not exceedingly angry.”

The footage shifted to Westen and his colleagues conversing with the female officer, who calmly clarified that a complaint had been made regarding the loud noise emanating from his property. He returned to the burnout party and recounted the incident to his friends.

“We will proceed with our burnout party, but there is now a significant penalty,”he declared.

The burnouts quickly resumed, but it didn’t take long for the police department to return to Champlin’s property due to another noise complaint.

“As a reminder, we discussed the possibility of a fine. The woman has returned from the police department with a clipboard, and the amount of the fine may be increased,”he explained.

The YouTuber went so far as to trick his team by convincing the officer to handcuff him and put him in the back of her cruiser. However, he was soon released and the burnout party continued without interruption.

This is simply the most recent car-related video to become popular on social media in 2024. In March, a Kick streamer wrecked his McLaren 720S, and in May, a YouTuber also crashed his McLaren Senna.
