According to FaZe Banks, Dr Disrespect should consider rebranding himself as “Mr Respect”in light of the accusations against him, as stated in a playful manner.
The well-known streamer known as Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Guy Beahm, has announced that he is currently on an “extended vacation”following his permanent ban from Twitch in 2020. He revealed that this ban was due to his admission of messaging a minor on the platform.
The consequences following Doc’s remark have been significant, with other content creators openly criticizing and separating themselves from him — except for one influencer who is opting for a different approach.
On June 26, FaZe Clan CEO Ricky Banks tweeted a day after Doc’s post, confirming the allegations against him. Banks jokingly suggested that the streamer should abandon his ‘Dr Disrespect’ persona and adopt a different character instead.
“Banks urged Dr Disrespect to completely abandon his persona and drop the act, including ditching the costume. He encouraged him to fire up the stream and act naive.”

Despite the fact that Banks’ post of Beahm without his Dr Disrespect costume and wearing glasses was intended as a joke, some individuals online are not finding it amusing.

Banks is the most recent influencer to join the conversation surrounding Dr Disrespect following public statements from Kai Cenat, Ninja, and even Pokimane the previous day. During a live stream, Kai Cenat notably unfollowed the Doc, while Poki simply expressed her disapproval with a brief tweet reading “yuck”.

Some of the Doc’s closest friends, including TimTheTatMan and Nadeshot, have also chosen to separate themselves from him. Tim stated that he is unable to continue supporting his former friend, while Nadeshot expressed that he does not support communicating with minors, stating that it is not a difficult concept to comprehend.
Despite the ongoing accusations and social media turmoil, Dr Disrespect has been released by his own game studio and parted ways with the San Francisco 49ers and Turtle Beach.
