“InZOI has recently launched its character studio, giving players a sneak peek at the game. The Sims community is already declaring that they have no desire to return to their old ways.”
Although an exact release date for InZOI has not been announced yet, players can get a glimpse of the game through its character creator on Steam, courtesy of developer KRAFTON. For a limited period, players can utilize all the features that will be offered in the full game to create and customize their Zois.
Despite the fact that the character studio has only been live for a few days and there is no gameplay yet, the demo has already captured the interest of the life simulation community. Numerous individuals are already raving about the game and drawing comparisons to EA’s popular franchise, The Sims.
In a Reddit discussion, gamers are expressing their exhaustion with underdeveloped Sims content and their eagerness for KRAFTON’s life simulation game to be officially launched. Many are pleased to see The Sims 4 finally facing some competition.
One of InZOI’s in-game features will include having pets.
A user confessed that they have been playing The Sims 4 solely because it was the only option available to satisfy their craving for a life simulation game.
“In their words, they shared their thoughts: “I am happy that The Sims 4 finally has some competition with the upcoming releases of Paralives and inZOI. However, once inZOI is available, I won’t be turning back.”
Several additional players who joined the discussion also shared the same sentiment, acknowledging that InZOI has surpassed their initial expectations even though it is only a demo.
According to a user’s opinion, The Sims 4 took a long time to become somewhat satisfactory, but now they no longer find it appealing. In comparison, InZOI is still in its developmental phase, yet it is already more intriguing.
“They suggested imagining the S4 in its original version with no updates, such as the absence of toddlers, babies, pools, a white map, and only 2 worlds. They then urged for a comparison to be made with INZOI. However, they pointed out that many are already comparing the current S4, which has over 1000 DLC, to a new game that is not yet released, but only a demo.”
At the same time, a different user expressed their excitement about leaving behind the Sims franchise and the possibility of EA being forced to improve their game due to the emergence of InZOI as a competitor. Another user remarked, “It’s unbelievable that InZOI is still in the development phase and already has half of the features of the Sims 4.”
Overall, players are relieved that after years of waiting, The Sims 4 will finally have some competition and they eagerly anticipate the launch of the new rival.
For those interested in trying out the character studio and experiencing the hype for themselves, it is important to act quickly. The studio will only be available until August 25 at 9 PM PT.
