Cooler Master’s highly anticipated shark-shaped PC is finally hitting the market, but its steep price will leave many longing for a larger budget.
Familiar with designing unconventional and costly gaming computers, Cooler Master released the Sneaker X, a PC shaped like a shoe, in 2023 at a remarkable price of $3499.99. This was succeeded by the Sneaker X Bounce only a year after.
Finally, after being unveiled at CES 2023, the Shark X PC, a massive gaming PC shaped like a shark, has been released by Cooler Master. It is now available for a staggering price of $7000.
The Shark X has been available to the public for a considerable amount of time. It was initially unveiled by Cooler Master at CES in 2023, and was once again showcased at CES in 2024.
At that location, spectators had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the enormous mini-ITX-based computer, which was modeled after custom modifications showcased in the 2019 Cooler Master Case Mod World Series.
According to Cooler Master’s CEO, Jimmy Sha, the Shark X is more than just a high-performance computer. It is a masterpiece that seamlessly combines art and technology, showcasing Cooler Master’s dedication to cutting-edge design and engineering.
The Shark X’s design certainly demands attention. Standing at a towering three feet tall, this massive PC can be stored upright with its included RGB stand. Additionally, it boasts personalized RGB lighting and a glowing shark fin.
The eye-grabbing rig’s internal components also feature “strategic openings”in the chassis, allowing for visibility of certain parts of your gaming rig, similar to a standard PC case.
Despite being described as an “art piece”by the brand, the PC is not solely focused on its appearance. It is built on a mini-ITX framework, which enables simple upgrades and enhances its functionality.
Despite its hefty $7000 price, the Cooler Master package includes more than just the shark-shaped case. On their website, Cooler Master offers a pre-built option that includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card and an Intel Core i7-14700F processor, as well as Windows 11 Home edition.
The Shark X, which is already assembled, is also equipped with the brand’s personalized Masterliquid cooling system, Sickleflow 120 fans, 64GB of DDR5-600 RAM, and a 2TB SSD.
If you are a fan of the film Jaws or have enough space for the large Shark X PC, you can now order it from Cooler Master’s website.
