Warzone features a “crazy” LMG that serves as an excellent alternative to the recently nerfed DTIR 30-06, and it has just received a buff itself.
The launch of Season 6 introduced the final major update to the meta in both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. This update favored numerous guns from Modern Warfare 2, while also highlighting several options from MW3.
In the wake of this substantial update, the developers released smaller hotfixes. One of these occurred on September 24, promptly addressing the “broken” Bracefire-HC Grip.
This update imposed significant nerfs on the DTIR 30-06. The LMG, which has previously seen reductions in its damage profiles, also experienced increased recoil for its base variant and various barrels.
Although the DTIR remains a contender in the meta, players are starting to look for alternatives. Renowned Warzone expert Metaphor has pointed out the ideal choice – the Pulemyot 762.
“This thing is absolutely crazy right now,” he stated in his September 26 video. “It is one of the best guns in the entire game and hardly anyone is using it.”
The YouTuber emphasized that the recoil “barely moves” and is “very easy to control” without requiring special techniques.

As highlighted in his insights, the LMG is currently underutilized. According to WZRanked statistics, it ranks as the 28th most-used weapon in the battle royale, clearly off-meta.
