NingNing from aespa stunned everyone with her Y2K style and “hot girl”aura.

The quartet (Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing) kicked off their university festival tour on May 22 at Gangnam and Dankook University.

The event will resume on May 23 at Kyunghee University, with additional locations at Kwangwoon University on the 24th, and more to come in the subsequent days.

The students were truly stunned by their excellent live vocals and impeccable dance skills during their kick-off performance, as they did not disappoint.

Additionally, aespa garnered high praise for their genuine appearances, as well as their collective visual harmony and unique charms.

Among the four stunning members, NingNing’s bold embrace of the Y2K fashion trend truly caught everyone’s attention and brought to mind the iconic “It Girl”Lee Hyori.

Dressed in denim pants, a crop top, a trucker hat, hoop earrings, and with her smokey makeup, the idol brought back a sense of 00s nostalgia.

After the event, fancams captured by both students and non-fans went viral on X, captivating everyone with NingNing’s stunning “hot girl”appearance. Her exceptional dance skills also received accolades, showcasing her versatility as not just a gifted main vocalist but also a skilled dancer.

Despite the viral spread of her video on the platform, it swiftly accumulated over half a million views and received enthusiastic comments from netizens.

In the midst of the May university festival, aespa presented a live performance of their popular release, “Supernova,”which is one of the two title tracks from their debut full-length album, “Armageddon.”

On May 27, the physical album will be released along with the second same-name title track and other b-sidetracks.

Anticipation is mounting for the possibility that they will sustain the same level of success or even surpass the extraordinary achievement of “Supernova.”

As of May 23, the song has maintained its position at the top of both the MelOn Top 100 and Hot 100 charts, and had also previously reached the peak of the daily chart on May 20.

The song has also achieved first place on various other Korean music platforms such as Bugs, Flo, and Genie. Notably, it has remained in the top spot on Bugs for 8 consecutive days since its debut.

Despite originating in Korea, the response to “Supernova”has been positive globally. The song has achieved over 18 million streams on Spotify, the largest audio and music streaming platform in the world.
