Cristiano Ronaldo & Neymar amongst stars at Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk

The highly anticipated showdown between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will determine the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the century.

The upcoming match is a showdown between two elite boxers of their time, with Fury aiming to enhance his impressive 34-0-1 track record and prove that he remains at the pinnacle of his career.

Similarly, Usyk has maintained his typical stoic demeanor in the lead-up to the fight, focusing solely on the task at hand. He confidently declares his intention to knock down the 6-foot-9 Fury in the early rounds and continue his unbeaten streak in the boxing world.

Dubbed as the largest combat sporting event in recent history, it comes as no shock that numerous prominent celebrities flocked to Saudi Arabia to witness the live match.

Amidst great excitement, Cristiano Ronaldo, a player for the Saudi-based Al Nassr football club, made a grand entrance at the Kingdom Arena, with paparazzi eagerly capturing his arrival at the venue.

At the event, the ex-Manchester United player even playfully teased Arsenal supporter Frank Warren, stating, “They [Arsenal] have no chance of winning the Premier League.”

Afterwards, Ronaldo discovered that he was seated in the front row next to boxing sensation Anthony Joshua. Joshua, who had a record of 28 wins and 3 losses, was visibly happy before the main event as he and Cristiano engaged in conversation ringside.

Joshua anticipates facing the victor of the Fury and Usyk match, but it is unlikely to happen until 2025. This is due to Frank Warren’s mention that a rematch between the two boxers is already planned for a later date, regardless of the outcome on May 18.

Neymar Jr., a fellow member of the Saudi Pro League, was also in attendance at the star-studded event, proving that Ronaldo was not the only superstar footballer present.

As he made his way into the arena, Neymar was approached by a reporter who inquired about his preferred fighter for the night’s main event. Neymar replied, “I am supporting Tyson Fury, but it is certainly going to be an exciting fight.”

Despite the group of photographers, the midfielder managed to reach Ronaldo. The two shared a friendly exchange and even fist bumped before going their separate ways.

The energy of the crowd has been high since the start of the prelims, and it is expected to increase even further as Fury and Usyk make their way to the ring for the unification title fight.
