Cristiano Ronaldo Reaches 1 Billion Followers, Celebrating YouTube Success

Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating a remarkable achievement, becoming one of the first individuals to reach one billion followers across all his social media platforms.

As one of the most renowned football players in history, it comes as no surprise that Ronaldo has built an extensive audience on social media.

On September 12, 2024, he took to his social channels to commemorate this significant milestone — surpassing 1 billion followers across all his profiles.

“We’ve made history — 1 BILLION followers! This is more than just a number – it’s a testament to our shared passion, drive, and love for the game and beyond. From the streets of Madeira to the biggest stages in the world, I’ve always played for my family and for you, and now 1 billion of us stand together,” he expressed in his post.

“You’ve been with me every step of the way, through all the highs and the lows. This journey is our journey, and together, we’ve shown that there are no limits to what we can achieve.

“Thank you for believing in me, for your support, and for being part of my life. The best is yet to come, and we’ll keep pushing, winning, and making history together.”

Ronaldo’s immense fan base is distributed across six different accounts, with Instagram being the most prominent, boasting over 638 million followers on the Meta-owned platform.

His second-largest following is on Facebook, where he has over 170 million fans, while X, previously known as Twitter, has a considerable 113 million followers. Additionally, Ronaldo is active on Chinese social media platforms Weibo and Kuaishou, each having just under 10 million followers.

This accomplishment follows Ronaldo’s recent venture into YouTube on August 21, 2024, where millions of fans eagerly subscribed, bringing his total to over 60 million subscribers as of now.

With this tremendous success, Ronaldo has his sights set on surpassing MrBeast’s subscriber count in the near future, although he currently trails by about 240 million subscribers.
