Crunchyroll’s Summer 2024 Anime Lineup and Schedule Confirmation

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Crunchyroll announced its official Summer 2024 anime lineup and full schedule. They also revealed which series would be receiving dubs in various languages. In addition, the platform confirmed that they would continue streaming certain anime and shared news about miscellaneous anime projects that would be available on their platform for the season.

According to Crunchyroll’s official statement, the complete lineup of premiere dates for Summer 2024 anime on the platform spans from June 26 to August 7. Although there is a chance that more anime series may be announced for the platform at a later time, the streaming service has not mentioned any pending series as they usually do.

Crunchyroll’s Summer 2024 Anime Season: The Best Yet

Crunchyroll viewers can look forward to several popular ongoing anime series, such as season 7 of My Hero Academia, Spice and Wolf, and season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Additionally, the platform will also feature exciting new anime premieres in the upcoming season, including season 2 of Tower of God, cour 2 of NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a, and the long-awaited season 2 of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, which was previously delayed.

Despite not being as well-known as the ones mentioned, there are numerous other thrilling series scheduled to premiere on Crunchyroll during the Summer 2024 anime season. Below is the complete list of these shows, along with their premiere dates and available language dubs.

Furthermore, Crunchyroll is currently providing live streams for several ongoing anime series mentioned previously. These include Spice and Wolf, DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION, One Piece, My Hero Academia season 7, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master, Case Closed (Detective Conan), Wonderful Precure!, and Chibi Maruko-chan.

In addition, Crunchyroll revealed that they have acquired the rights to the Bocchi the Rock! anime compilation films and intends to showcase them in theaters across North America. Although there is currently no confirmed release date for the North American market, it is unlikely that both compilation films will be screened during the Summer 2024 season at the time of writing.
