In November 2016, Crush gained fame for his performance in a downpour during the KBS1 “Open Concert,”which was later referred to as one of the “four major downpours in the music industry.”

During that moment, as Crush sang the song “Sometimes,”a heavy rain began to pour down. Despite the rain obstructing his vision and streaming down his face, Crush couldn’t contain his laughter while performing.

One moment that stood out in particular was when he brushed the rain off his face, and the lyrics “Why are tears coming out today?”and “Tonight is unusually cold”seemingly aligned with the current situation, resulting in a comical moment. This incident went on to become a popular meme in South Korea for several years.
