Crypto’s Power Boost in Apex Legends Season 22

Crypto’s Power Boost in Apex Legends Season 22

Apex Legends players have finally gotten their wish for a Crypto buff granted. This much-desired change should make him a popular choice, but it is also inspired by a long-standing meme within the community.

Despite Respawn Entertainment implementing various changes to their legends in recent years, there has been one particular character that has consistently topped most players’ wish lists for a buff – Crypto.

The recon legend, who joined the roster of Apex Legends in Season 3, quickly became a fan favorite. This was largely due to the usefulness of his drone, which not only allowed players to retrieve fallen teammates’ banners in a tight spot, but also provided valuable reconnaissance in nearby areas.

Despite other modifications, Crypto’s popularity decreased rapidly. Players promptly requested Respawn to grant him a ‘off the grid’ passive that would shield him from being spotted by other Crypto players or being revealed by any other scan abilities.

After the community has used the ‘off the grid’ meme for years, Respawn has decided to buff the Surveillance Expert in a similar manner for Season 22.

In the future, once Crypto activates his drone, he will become completely hidden and undetectable by enemy players. This will make him a highly desirable choice for anyone seeking to stealthily survive in endgame areas.

One excited player expressed, “This is so exciting, my friend is finally getting the recognition he deserves. I’m going to be ecstatic!”Another player shared, “In my opinion, this is one of the best buffs since season 7.”A third player commented, “This just enhances his abilities even more. I can hardly wait for this change. Although I will miss the perk of having a faster-moving drone.”

Despite this, his teammate will now have one less player on their side. However, we can expect to see an increase in his pick rate due to this alteration.

“One concerned player remarked, stating that Respawn would have to swiftly reverse the changes as they wouldn’t last long.”
