At the Counter-Strike 2 BLAST Premier, professional player NiKo from G2 made headlines after punching a hole in a table following a crucial round against Team Vitality. The impact not only left the table damaged but also resulted in a bleeding hand, yet he continued to play through the match.
During an intense Semifinal battle between G2 and Team Vitality, victory was essential. ZyWOo, recognized as the King of Counter-Strike, stood as a formidable obstacle for G2’s aspirations to reach the BLAST Premier Final. With both teams locked in a 1-1 map score, the decisive round unfolded on Mirage.
Faced with a round deficit, NiKo had the opportunity to turn the tides by achieving an ace. With only 24 HP remaining, he ventured into the B site, seemingly primed for success.
However, just one kill away from sealing the deal, he fell short after missing the headshot he required.

In response, NiKo slammed his hand against the table in frustration, causing significant damage and sustaining an injury. Regardless of the incident, he pressed on, continuing to use the same table without calling for a pause. The match continued and culminated in G2’s triumph.
G2 rallied back, fought hard into overtime, and finally overcame Team Vitality in a nail-biting finish. As NiKo boldly stated, “I’m f**king bleeding and killing, let’s go.”
Though this Semifinal victory didn’t come with a championship trophy like a win in the Grand Finals would, NiKo took his own trophy home: the mangled table.

With this impressive victory, G2 has secured a spot in the Grand Final at BLAST Premier, triumphing over one of the premier teams in Counter-Strike 2. NiKo and the rest of G2 undoubtedly demonstrated their capability to contend for the championship title.
However, they might want to consider providing him with a sturdier table in the future.
