Cube Admitted It Knew About (G)I-DLE So-yeon’s ‘Contract Termination’ Lyrics In Advance

On the 6th, Cube Entertainment (referred to as Cube) clarified on its official account that recent media reports about Soyeon’s solo song “Is this b**** number?”and its stage performance are false. The company also stated that it has not released any official statement regarding the matter.

Cube apologized and released an official statement addressing the spread of individual opinions being mistaken as an official stance, causing distress to both Soyeon and fans of (G)I-DLE. They also acknowledged their prior knowledge of the stage performance and lyrics of “Uh-Oh”.

Moreover, he stated, “The specified time marks the expiration of the contract, and we are currently in smooth negotiations for its renewal.”

At the solo stage of (G)I-DLE’s third world tour on the 3rd, Jeon So-yeon delivered a powerful performance with the phrase “End of the November contract”displayed on the electronic screen. She also asked, “Who can stop me as I face the end of my contract in November?”

Despite Cube’s emphasis on the significance of Jeon So-yeon’s lyrics in their stage performance, they also mentioned that the members’ renewal is scheduled for next year.
