“Culinary Class Wars”: Chef with Three Michelin Stars Canceled for Cheating on Former Wife

On October 30, Dispatch unveiled interviews featuring Mrs. A, the ex-wife of Chef Triple Star, and Ms. B, his former girlfriend. The accusations indicate that Triple Star may have obtained a job at a Michelin-starred establishment thanks to lobbying by Mrs. A, while allegedly maintaining a romantic involvement with Ms. B during his marriage to Mrs. A.

As per the details in the report, Triple Star, who was an overseas student, initially crossed paths with Mrs. A, a businesswoman based in the U.S., in 2014. It is claimed that Mrs. A played a pivotal role in helping him land a position at the prestigious restaurant by presenting two Chanel handbags to the management.

In response to the allegations, Triple Star remarked, “I am aware that Mrs. A gifted Chanel bags to two individuals,” but asserted, “I initially worked as an unpaid intern for three months, putting in considerable effort, which led to my full-time employment within a month. It was not due to the Chanel bags; it was solely because the head chef acknowledged my talent.”

The relationship between Mrs. A and Triple Star spanned from 2014 until their divorce in 2022. This association included unsettling revelations, such as “Secretly viewing CCTV footage of a provocatively dressed patron seated alone” and “Demanding that she engage with other men due to my own desires.”

At the same time, Ms. B was reportedly in a relationship with Triple Star while he was still with Mrs. A. This relationship became public knowledge after Ms. B messaged the restaurant’s social media account, which was under Mrs. A’s management, as she was also an investor in Triple Star’s current culinary venture. Supposedly, Triple Star concluded his relationship with Ms. B by simply “ghosting” her.

Reflecting on this situation, Ms. B shared, “While I had heard whispers about his troubled relationships with women, I never imagined I would be part of it,” adding that she only realized she was embroiled in a cheating scenario after being ghosted.

Moreover, both Mrs. A and Ms. B declared, “He revealed himself to be someone we never want to encounter again. We have no interest in whether he cooks at his restaurant; we simply don’t wish to see him in the media.”

Chef Triple Star gained fame from his participation in the Netflix hit show “Culinary Class Wars.” He tied the knot with Mrs. A in 2022, but their union was short-lived, ending in divorce just three months later. Presently, he runs his own restaurant located in Cheongdam-dong.
