In the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, the Five Kage are still Chojuro, Kurotsuchi, Darui, Gaara, and Shikamaru Nara. Since the beginning of the “Naruto Next Generations”manga, the first four Kage have remained unchanged, but the position of Hokage has undergone a temporary shift due to the events at the conclusion of the previous manga.

Chojuro, one of the last generations of Kirigakure’s Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, was appointed as the sixth Mizukage of the Village Hidden in the Mist. Before this, he served as a retainer to the fifth Mizukage Mei Terumi. He possesses great skill in swordsmanship and is able to wield Hiramekarei, one of the mystical swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

Kurotsuchi is the fourth Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, also known as The Village Hidden in the Stones. She is the great-great-granddaughter of the First Tsuchikage, Ishikawa, and the granddaughter of the third Tsuchikage, Onoki. When Onoki retired from the position, Kurotsuchi immediately succeeded him as Tsuchikage.

Darui, previously a student of the Third Raikage, serves as the fifth Raikage of the Village Hidden in the Clouds, known as Kumogakure. He has also acted as the right-hand man to his two predecessors, the Third and Fourth Raikages.

Regarding Gaara, he currently holds the title of the fifth Kazekage in Sunagakure, also known as the Village Hidden in the Sand. He is the youngest among the children of the Fourth Kazekage Rasa and was once the host of the One-Tailed Beast Shukaku. Although he is no longer a Jinchuriki, he still possesses traces of Shukaku’s chakra within him.

Ultimately, Shikamaru Nara has taken on the role of interim Hokage in Konohagakure, also known as The Village Hidden in the Leaves. Although Boruto: Naruto Next Generations initially featured Naruto Uzumaki as the Seventh Hokage, the series concluded with Naruto and his wife Hinata being ensnared in a different dimension by Kawaki.

Despite Kawaki manipulating Eida to spread the false rumor that Boruto was responsible for Naruto’s death, the village was forced to select a new Hokage. Given Shikamaru Nara’s skill and experience as a Shinobi, as well as his previous role as Naruto’s chief aide, Konohagakure deemed him the most suitable candidate for the position. However, Shikamaru has yet to officially take on the role of the Eighth Hokage.
