While Hot Pockets has ceased the sale of its signature microwaveable sleeve, the brand continues to show appreciation for its devoted fan base through creative initiatives.
Recently, it introduced its first-ever holiday-themed ugly sweater that is perfect for the festive season. This sweater boasts a distinctive feature: zip-off sleeves, making it an ideal choice when temperatures rise.
You can find the sweater available for purchase online. Though the initial stock in various sizes sold out after its launch on October 15, shoppers can still grab one on October 29, November 19, and December 3 at 12:00 PM ET.
Available for $40 while supplies last, the ugly sweater comes in sizes ranging from small to 2XL.
The retailer’s website describes the sweater as having “soft knit fabric in a vibrant red color” and features “sleeves that can be zipped off at the shoulders” along with “a playful snowman enjoying his own Hot Pocket.”
Hot Pockets fans still have three chances to snag their festive ugly sweater online.
The sweater features other jolly designs, such as reindeer, a cozy fireplace, snowflakes, and cautionary text saying: “Caution: Hot.”
“It’s the sleeveson to flaunt your unexpectedly bold style with this removable sleeve sweater—because sleeves are so last year,” stated Hot Pockets.
Admirers of the cheese, meat, and vegetable-filled microwave sandwiches are particularly enthusiastic about this seasonal ugly sweater.
After the announcement on Instagram, customers shared their excitement, stating how much they “love” and “need” to own one of these sweaters.
“Everything about this is something I absolutely need,” one fan declared, while another added, “Hands down, it’s absolutely fire.”
Conversely, some fans expressed a desire for Hot Pockets to reconsider their decision about the microwaveable sleeve. “Bring back sleeves,” one commented, while another echoed, “Boo, bring back the sleeve.” In response, Hot Pockets acknowledged the feedback, saying, “Request noted.”
