Customers React to Chick-fil-A’s First-Ever French Fries with Meltdown

Chick-fil-A, a popular chicken chain, is potentially planning to release their own version of french fries, which would be a first for the beloved restaurant.

Chick-fil-A is famous for its chicken. In 2023, it was chosen as the top fast food restaurant in America, beating out popular chains such as McDonald’s and Taco Bell.

However, Chick-fil-A has never experimented with fries. While their signature waffle fries have always been a staple, they have not included the traditional french fries that are commonly found at fast food chains such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and KFC.

Nevertheless, the test kitchen at Chick-fil-A’s location in College Park, MD is currently testing regular French fries as a potential menu item.

This has the potential to significantly impact the chain, much like Jack in the Box’s offering of both regular and curly fries.

The store’s post clarifies that they now offer delivery to most areas in College Park, MD. However, customers should note that menu prices for delivery are slightly higher than those at the physical restaurant. Additional fees may also apply, and customers can view these charges at checkout.

Despite some people expressing concerns, one individual wrote: “Please don’t tell me this is replacing the waffle fries.”

“Another person wrote that people on TikTok are in a frenzy because they believe you are planning to remove our beloved waffle fries.”

The nationwide release of the fries has not yet been confirmed, but we will continue to keep you informed.

While this may not be the sole fast food chain making headlines for their fries, McDonald’s and Wendy’s have also revealed that they will be offering free fries throughout the entire summer.
