Wuthering Waves has been out for approximately a week and players have already invested numerous hours into exploring all of its features. However, there is one aspect that players may have overlooked – the account customization feature. Here is a guide on how to personalize your account in Wuthering Waves.
How to Customize Accounts in Wuthering Waves
In Wuthering Waves, customization of characters and their facial features is not available. However, players can enhance their account’s appearance to make an impression on friends and other players. This can be done by accessing the menu, where other features such as Convenes, Inventory, and Quests can also be found.
Select Customization Menu
To access the account profile menu, click on the three small dots located on the left side of your character portrait in the top right corner. This will open a menu with six different tabs that you can choose from.
Change Avatar and Switch Sigil
Upon opening the menu, the first two tabs that will catch your eye are the Change Avatar and Switch Sigil options. By clicking on either tab, you will be taken to the respective customization menu. The Change Avatar tab allows you to select from a variety of character portraits and showcase your preferred ones. It’s important to note that you can only choose portraits of characters that you currently possess.
The Switch Sigil tab allows you to equip a cover banner that appears behind your character profile portrait. There are currently twenty-four sigils shown in the tab, but you can only equip ones that you have obtained. To see how to acquire each sigil in-game, you can check them individually.
Edit Name and Edit Biography
In the account profile menu, the following two tabs are the Edit Menu and Edit Biography tab. Their purpose is self-explanatory; the Edit Menu allows you to change your account’s nickname while the Edit Biography tab lets you add a brief summary of yourself in Wuthering Waves or any other information you would like to share. These customizations will provide players with insight into your identity and any additional details you choose to include in your biography.
4) Set Birthday and Share Profile
Within the account profile menu, you will come across two additional tabs that give you the options to share your profile ID with other players and set your birthday in Wuthering Waves. By toggling the Show Birthday feature on or off, you can decide whether to keep your birthday private or public. It is important to note that once you have set your birthday, it cannot be changed. After customizing your profile, you can easily share it with other players by copying your ID and passing it on. However, please keep in mind that you must be on the same server as the other players in order to add them in Wuthering Waves.
