After the reveal of the existence of multiverses in the series, Boruto Two Blue Vortex has become much more intriguing. Despite their significant impact in the Naruto Next Generation series, Eida and Daemon have had minimal presence in the sequel series since its start. This could suggest that the author is building them up as potential adversaries for the Uzumaki family.
The encounter between Himawari and Daemon revealed the intensity of something strong within Himawari. This foreshadowed her future role as the jinchuriki of the Nine-tails, and also established Daemon as her ideal opponent in the Two Blue Vortex manga series.

Why the Boruto Series Chose Daemon as Himawari’s Perfect Opponent
Daemon, who first appeared in chapter 59, is a secondary antagonist in the Boruto series. Like Eida, his body was enhanced through the use of Scientific Ninja Tools, and he received DNA from the powerful Otsutsuki clan member Shibai Otsutsuki.
As a result, he acquired one of Shibai’s shinjutsu techniques, reflect, which enabled him to deflect his opponent’s attack back onto themselves, similar to his sister’s Omnipotence.
Despite being released by Code, Daemon’s only goal was still to accompany his sister wherever she went. As time passed, Eida expressed her desire to move to the Hidden Leaf Village with Daemon, driven by her feelings for Kawaki.
Eventually, this became a reality and both of them were granted official residency in the Hidden Leaf Village. Kawaki, along with a few other students, were given the task of monitoring Eida’s future actions. In addition, Eida began to freely explore the village’s streets.
During one particular incident, Daemon abruptly dashed in a certain direction upon sensing something. He coincidentally came across Himawari, who was out shopping at the time, and inquired about her true identity. Boruto quickly intervened and managed to keep Daemon away from his sister. Fascinated by Himawari, Daemon managed to break free from the protagonist’s grasp and attempted to strike her.
The protagonist managed to catch up to Daemon once more, and asked Himawari why she hadn’t tried to stop him despite the strong emotions he could feel coming from her. The protagonist suspected that Daemon’s behavior was driven by his feelings for Himawari.
Nevertheless, as the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga series progressed, Himawari unexpectedly manifested as the jinchuriki of the Nine-tailed Fox, confirming Daemon’s earlier suspicions about her untapped jinchuriki chakra. Following this event, Daemon’s curiosity was piqued by Himawari, although he has not made any notable appearances in the ongoing Two Blue Vortex series since her awakening.
It is possible that Daemon would become a formidable adversary for Himawari in the future, as he is currently prevented from wreaking havoc and harming the citizens of the Hidden Leaf Village by her sister. Since he was intrigued by the enigmatic aura he sensed from her that day, it is likely that he will reappear in the future to confront Himawari, who may have further developed her jinchuriki abilities by then.
