On December 13, 2NE1’s CL made a special guest appearance on BIGBANG’s Daesung‘s YouTube series, “ZIP DAESUNG.” In the episode titled “Let’s Hang Out Like This Until We’re 60 | I’ll Be a Grandma!!,” Daesung reminisced about the 2NE1 reunion concert, playfully noting the challenges of coordinating practice sessions. He remarked, “It’s been a long time since all four of you were together. And I’ve heard… someone has been a bit lax with practice.”

As CL felt slightly uncomfortable with the comment, Daesung quickly lightened the mood, stating, “But I’ve also heard that you practiced every day.” His attempt at humor drew a laugh from CL, who reflected on the intense rehearsal schedule the group had maintained. Daesung further shared that he often saw 2NE1’s Dara at the same salon, where their conversations revealed her own struggles with concert preparations. This apology is significant given Daesung’s earlier statements during an episode of “The PSICK SHOW” in February, where he controversially identified Minzy as the member he believed could be removed without major impact on the group. Later in May, Daesung took a step further by publicly apologizing to Minzy through a video message, noting that he did not have her contact information at the time to reach out directly about the issue. He acknowledged the harm of his previous remarks and sought to clarify his respect for all 2NE1 members.
