The 2024 NFL regular season schedule for the Dallas Cowboys was announced through a prank on numerous high-profile celebrity fans, which featured Post Malone and TimTheTatman.
On May 15, all 32 NFL teams officially released their schedules. Many of them utilized social media to announce the upcoming games.
The Los Angeles Chargers were one of the pioneers of this trend, having utilized anime-style reveals in previous years and a Sims-inspired video reveal for this off-season.
Additionally, the Cowboys went above and beyond by enlisting the help of various individuals such as artist Post Malone, streamer TimTheTatman, and team owner Jerry Jones to surprise fans through FaceTime calls.

The initial responder to the call was renowned boxer Jake Paul. In Week 1, Dallas is set to face the Cleveland Browns, coincidentally the hometown of the 27-year-old.
Upon seeing Malone and Co. staring menacingly, Paul, who is scheduled to fight Mike Tyson at Cowboys Stadium on July 20, initially felt confused. However, it soon became clear to him that he was part of the schedule reveal.
A renowned supporter of the Detroit Lions, Ninja was at a loss for words when he received the call. The only thing he could manage to say in reply was, “What the f**k?”
Donning San Francisco 49ers attire, rap artist Saweetie had a lighthearted retort of her own, questioning the stern-faced participants why they resembled characters from The Purge.
Subsequently, during the Week 10 matchup against Philadelphia, comedians Shane Gillis and Joe Rogan made a side-splitting entrance from the sauna when they received the call.
During the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reveal, Bert Kreischer, a fellow comedian alongside Gillis and Rogan, was so filled with laughter that he even joked, “Am I being drafted?”during the call.
The most memorable clip, however, was from TikTok sensation “That ‘One Mailman,”where the enthusiastic Bengals supporter responded with his signature tone and asked, “Hey, little stinker booty! What are you all up to?”
In addition to social media personalities, the video also featured several former athletes such as Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, and Lions Hall of Famer Calvin ‘Megatron’ Johnson.
The Cowboys’ social media team excelled at revealing the 2024 regular season schedule, making it a tough act to follow next year.
