A recent post on X/Twitter hinted at the appearance of a mysterious cat in the upcoming episode, asking fans if they recognized its identity. This feline seems reminiscent of one featured in both the opening and ending sequences, albeit transformed in some way.
Episode 5 will not only welcome Aira Shiratoshi, a fan-favorite from the manga, but it will also showcase a new iteration of Turbo Granny. While Aira possesses spiritual powers distinct from Momo’s, Turbo Granny’s essence has been transferred to a cat doll form. Although she was defeated by Momo and Okarun, much of her formidable energy persists.
The highly anticipated Dandadan Episode 5 is scheduled for release on October 31, 2024.
