In a recent YouTube video, Danny Duncan aimed to make a difference by bailing out random individuals from jail, but the well-intentioned effort quickly spiraled into chaos when one particular case took a turn for the worse.
On February 4, Duncan shared a video titled “Bailing Random Strangers Out Of Jail!”. Using a specialized app, he searched for recently arrested individuals to assist by posting bail. Together with friends, including popular TikToker cduerk, he managed to secure the release of several people from jail, each with varying reasons for their arrests. These included individuals apprehended for minor offenses, such as not registering their cars, and more complicated situations, like a dispute with a stepfather.
Among those Duncan helped was Hayden, a young man arrested for shoplifting at Walmart. Hayden candidly divulged his troubling history, which included previous thefts involving a dog and various items from the store, such as a machete and a knife. Following his release, Duncan treated Hayden to dinner, a limousine ride where they discussed his life choices, and even arranged a hotel stay for the night.
Danny Duncan’s Bailout Takes a Twist
What initially appeared to be a philanthropic gesture soon turned chaotic. The morning after Hayden’s release, Duncan reported some shocking developments regarding Hayden’s behavior during their hotel stay.“That kid Hayden apparently stole everything out of the hotel room and then sh*t on the floor, ” Duncan lamented, revealing that he was subsequently banned from the Hilton where the incident took place.
Upon further investigation, it became clear that Hayden had absconded with a television from the hotel, managing to sell it for $200. When confronted about his actions, Hayden absurdly claimed he only took a piece of the TV. In a bid to resolve the situation, Duncan offered, “If I can get the TV back tonight, I’ll buy you another one from Walmart.” To this, Hayden coolly responded, “You won’t be able to get it back.”
In a surprising twist during the video, Duncan returned to the hotel with Hayden, where the young man apologized to the staff and attempted to return a television, asserting it was the same one he had stolen.
However, viewers expressed their dissatisfaction in the comments section. One remarked, “Lock his a** back up, ” while another voice chimed in with, “That boy should not be bailed out..what he was stealing is wild.” A third comment echoed similar sentiments: “Yeah, you shoulda left that one in there.”
Ultimately, despite the fiasco, the video wrapped up on a somewhat positive note with Hayden expressing gratitude to Duncan before they parted ways with a handshake.
