Recently, Sandara Park, famously known as Dara from 2NE1, took to her social media to share an update with the caption “YG Family,” showcasing numerous snapshots from 2NE1’s recent reunion concert.

Despite featuring artists affiliated with YG Entertainment, including some who have departed from the agency, Dara’s post notably omitted photos with BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Jennie was present at the concert and showed her full support for 2NE1.
This omission stirred up speculation that Dara intentionally left Jennie out of her concept of “YG Family,” which resulted in significant backlash from BLACKPINK fans.
In the comments on Dara’s tweet, many expressed their dissatisfaction, with remarks like, “YG has the worst seniors in the business. SNSD (Girls’ Generation) from a rival agency showed more seniority towards BP (BLACKPINK)” and “The entire company seems envious of BLACKPINK’s success, both as a group and as individual artists.”
While some supporters defended Dara, suggesting that the lack of images with Jennie was likely an oversight, others theorized that any pictures featuring Jennie included staff from her new agency, Odd Atelier, and thus were not relevant to the “YG Family” theme.
Nonetheless, critics maintained that several images exist of Jennie with 2NE1 that do not show the Odd Atelier personnel and continued to voice their discontent towards Dara.
