Dead by Daylight’s upcoming Castlevania Chapter is scheduled for release later this year.
Dead by Daylight has established a reputation among horror gaming enthusiasts, as each new crossover for the game continues to receive considerable recognition.
Behaviour Games has teamed up with Konami to create a new Chapter for Dead by Daylight, which combines modern horror elements with the iconic figure of Dracula. This collaboration aims to bring a fresh twist to the popular game.
The game’s first shapeshifter killer will now be available for players to control, providing a one-of-a-kind experience that is bound to transform Dead by Daylight.

The Castlevania Chapter for Dead by Daylight is scheduled to be released on August 27, 2024.
Although this new chapter is currently playable in an early test build on Steam, it is set to officially release in August.

Dead by Daylight will be featuring a shapeshifting killer for the first time, and it is none other than the iconic Dracula who has been chosen for this role.
Behaviour Interactive, the developer, has recently announced the new gameplay features for playing as Dracula, such as the ability to transform into a Wolf and track the scents of other players. This was revealed in an article by GMR News titled “Dracula is Coming: Dead by Daylight Announces Castlevania DLC Release”.
Furthermore, Dracula has the ability to shape-shift into various creatures, scorch his victims with fire while in his vampire state, and enlist the aid of a bat companion to assist him in locating Survivors.
Additionally, the developers announced that whenever Dracula is the highlighted killer in a game taking place on an original Dead by Daylight map, players will be able to see his famous castle looming in the distance.
Yet, they subsequently verified that Dracula’s castle will not be included in the licensed maps, unlike other notable locations such as the Nostromo wreckage from Alien and the Forgotten Ruins from Dungeons & Dragons.

In addition, Castlevania will bring in a fresh Survivor, Trevor Belmont, who is characterized by the developers as a “vampire hunter with unparalleled abilities.”
The character may be familiar to fans from the 1989 game Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse. Belmont has since made appearances in other Castlevania titles, including Curse of Darkness and Judgment.
Furthermore, Belmont is characterized as possessing a natural talent for forming alliances and functioning effectively within a team.
