Deadlock Sinner’s Sacrifice Guide: Locations, Soul Collection, Respawn Times, and More

The Sinner’s Sacrifice machines in Deadlock provide an effective method for farming Souls as matches advance. From their spawn locations to the Souls they yield, here’s an in-depth guide to exploit these machines.

Maximizing your every second is vital in any Deadlock game. You should consistently aim for different objectives, farm minions, and position yourself strategically for impending team fights.

Though the Sinner’s Sacrifice machines may appear to be minor, they play a crucial role in the early game grind. With the recent introduction of permanent buffs, you certainly don’t want to overlook these valuable resources.

Here’s a detailed look at their spawn locations and the rewards you can obtain.

How to Disable Sinner’s Sacrifice Machines

Each Sinner’s Sacrifice machine scattered across the map has 500 health points in total. The only way to damage them is through melee attacks. Firearms and abilities are ineffective, so you must approach and strike them manually.

A light melee attack inflicts 50 damage, while a heavy attack does 100 damage. Make sure to stay safe for a few moments to dismantle these machines. Avoid engaging with them during a skirmish.

Rewards for Destroying Sinner’s Sacrifice Machines

Breaking a Sinner’s Sacrifice machine grants you two types of rewards: Souls and a Gold Urn.

Initially, destroying one yields 330 Souls total, with half being obtained from your melee strikes and the other half appearing as Soul Orbs post-destruction.

Every minute that elapses, the value of these Souls increases. An additional three Souls are added for each passing minute, allowing you to collect up to 390 Souls by the 40-minute mark with relatively minimal effort.

Sinner’s Sacrifice machines will reward Souls with each hit, and substantially more upon their destruction.

Moreover, as of the September 26 update, Valve enhanced these machines. Not only do they drop Souls, but they now also yield a Gold Urn. These golden statues can also be found scattered across the map as matches progress, making them even more accessible via Sinner’s Sacrifice machines.

By breaking the golden statues, you can receive a permanent stat boost, though the effect is completely random. You could gain extra health or an enhanced fire rate, but in any case, it represents a permanent buff that you wouldn’t otherwise acquire, emphasizing the value of these machines.

Here’s a breakdown of the potential buffs from Gold Urns:

  • 3-15 minutes into a game:
    • 1.5% Fire Rate
    • 4% Ammo Capacity
    • 0.75% Cooldown Reduction
    • 3% Weapon Damage
    • +15 Health
    • +2 Spirit Power
  • 15+ minutes into a game:
    • 2% Fire Rate
    • 6% Ammo Capacity
    • 1% Cooldown Reduction
    • 4% Weapon Damage
    • +20 Health
    • +3 Spirit Power

Respawn Times

Sinner’s Sacrifice machines spawn at the 10-minute mark. After one machine is destroyed, there is a five-minute wait before it respawns. This timing remains consistent for the rest of the match.

With this information in hand, you can effectively farm Souls and stat boosts on your way to securing victories in Deadlock.
