Deadpool 3: The hilarious synopsis from the Japanese branch of Marvel

Dedapool 3 will mark the official debut of the sassy mercenary in the MCU. And according to the Japanese section of Marvel, it will “change the history” of the franchise forever.

In 2019, Disney bought a historic studio: 20th Century Fox. The big-eared company then found itself the proud owner of numerous productions, and among them were superhero films. Very quickly, spectators wondered if the Fox heroes could integrate the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The answer will have taken a long time to come, but here it is: yes, certain heroes and their interpreters will join the ranks of the Avengers and other wearers of tights and capes. Notably a loud-mouthed mercenary who loves to break the fourth wall: Deadpool. But how can such a fanciful character fit into this well-established universe?

The Japanese branch of Marvel has an idea: according to it, Deadpool 3 will quite simply… “change history” forever in the MCU!

Deadpool 3 will “change history” according to hilarious Japanese synopsis

Kevin Feige, head of the MCU, gave Ryan Reynolds and company carte blanche for the continuation of the improbable adventures of the mercenary. Six years after the second film, the third opus will hit theaters.

In Japan, the official synopsis for Deadpool 3 presents the film with the usual insolent tone that suits the character: “Deadpool, this f*cking irresponsible hero, is going to change the history of the MCU with Wolverine?!”

Rumors about a plot where the anti-hero tries to destroy the MCU multiverse could therefore be true. One thing is certain at least, and that is the presence of Wolverine, once again played by the iconic Hugh Jackman.

The two actors also both announced the end of filming on their social networks, each in their own way: a crotch photo for Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman celebrating the end of the job at the barber.

Deadpool 3 is expected in theaters on July 24, 2024.
