Deadpool & Wolverine reshoots are taking place — but there’s an exciting reason

Despite already being set for release this summer, reshoots for Deadpool & Wolverine are currently taking place. However, this is not a cause for concern as there is reportedly a valid reason for these additional scenes.

Don’t worry, the Deadpool & Wolverine reshoots should not cause any concern. According to DanielRPK, the main purpose of the reshoots is to add new cameos to the film. Additionally, Marvel is said to be satisfied with the movie as a whole, so there should not be any major alterations before it is released in theaters.

The film has already promised an abundance of cameos and Easter eggs for fans, particularly with Wade Wilson’s encounter with the TVA. He is taken from his peaceful existence and transported to the MCU timeline, where he crosses paths with Wolverine (not the Logan version) and other familiar faces.

In addition to Professor X, his sister Cassandra Nova is set to make an appearance in the upcoming film. Other characters from previous X-Men movies, such as Callisto from X-Men: The Last Stand, Toad from Days of Future Past, Lady Deathstrike from X2, Azazel from X-Men: First Class, Colossus from X-Men, and Pyro from X2, will also be featured. Famke Janssen, who portrayed Jean Grey in the original X-Men series, has not ruled out the chance of making an appearance as well.

Rumors suggest that Blake Lively may have a cameo appearance as Lady Deadpool. Additionally, a recent Easter egg featuring a fight sequence from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movie has led fans to speculate that one of the Spider-Man actors may also make an appearance. This is not surprising, as Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have all previously appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, solidifying their stories as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Following a rumor that Wesley Snipes may make an appearance as Blade, speculations arise due to the star’s well-known conflict with Ryan Reynolds during the filming of Blade: Trinity. A fan expressed their thoughts, stating, “It seems possible that Wesley Snipes might actually be in the movie. It makes sense – I doubt they would have made any major changes so close to the release date, and adding a few more cameos, shawarma-style, would be a fitting addition.”

One fan questioned whether the cameos would affect the flow of the movie’s plot. Another fan responded, “It’s possible that the characters were already written into the script, but they were kept secret until closer to the movie’s release to avoid any potential leaks.”

Who else could possibly make an appearance with the numerous Easter Eggs and cameos already spotted in the trailer? Perhaps a renowned vampire hunter?

On July 26, 2024, the highly anticipated release of Deadpool & Wolverine will take place. You will have the opportunity to catch up on the necessary amount of the MCU that you need to watch prior to its release.
