Deadpool & Wolverine Reveals Runtime — And It’s Set to Be Longest Deadpool Movie Ever

The leaked runtime has revealed that the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine team-up will be the longest movie ever for the Merc with a Mouth.

According to the official AMC website for Deadpool & Wolverine, the movie’s runtime is expected to be two hours and seven minutes (127 minutes). In recent years, a two-hour runtime has become the standard and is anticipated by the majority of fans. Similarly, Madame Web fell just short of the two-hour mark, with the Aquaman sequel following suit.

This will make it the lengthiest Deadpool movie in the franchise. The original film in 2016 had a duration of one hour and 48 minutes, and Deadpool 2 in 2018 was not much shorter than Deadpool & Wolverine, clocking in at two hours precisely.

The official runtime for Deadpool & Wolverine has not yet been announced by Marvel and is subject to change. However, the film’s duration does not match that of some of the longest runtimes seen in the entire MCU franchise thus far.

Eternals had a duration of two hours and 37 minutes, while Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ran for two hours and 41 minutes. It is not unexpected that the longest-running movie in the MCU with the longest runtime is none other than Avengers: Endgame, which lasts just over three hours.

The third installment of Deadpool continues Wade Wilson’s story as he appears to have returned to his usual routine. However, his peaceful existence is interrupted by the TVA, who transports him to a different timeline where he meets another version of Wolverine. This Logan is not the deceased one from the 2017 film, but a different iteration. Together, they embark on a mission that will have a significant impact on the MCU.

Fans of Deadpool and Wolverine will be eagerly watching as the movie features multiple cameos from X-Men characters, as well as introducing never-before-seen variants. The film’s impact on the timeline and future events is also highly anticipated.

The release date for the movie is July 26, 2024. You can find out how much of the MCU you should watch beforehand, as well as what Marvel movies and series are coming up to watch.
