Deadpool & Wolverine will “sidestep” Marvel’s longest tradition

The highly anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine movie is expected to challenge traditional norms seen in other Marvel films, such as their longstanding tradition of including a post-credits scene.

The star of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds, narrated a new disclaimer revealing that the upcoming Marvel movie will not include a post-credits scene for fans to stay and watch. This change has been announced.

“Reynolds expressed his excitement about joining you on July 26, but also noted the importance of setting the table correctly.”

The quality of this film is comparable to a sequel of Battlefield Earth. The majority of the film consists of violent confrontations, criticizing Disney, making crude jokes at our own expense and at Hugh’s expense. We will also ignore Marvel’s required after-credits scene, which is typically nothing more than an advertisement for another film, followed by yet another advertisement for another film.

“Take a moment to unwind and join us as we journey to Dreamland, a seemingly shallow world where adults don eccentric costumes and pretend not to face deeper societal issues. This is what some call cinema.”

Ever since its release in 2008, Iron Man has been followed by Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that feature a pre-, mid-, or post-credits scene, setting the stage for what’s to come.

Avengers: Endgame stands out as the only film that did not engage in any of these actions, as it was widely considered the culmination of the Infinity Saga and did not need to establish any future storylines.

The decision to not include a post-credits scene is understandable. This will be the only film released by the studio this year, and it already has the daunting task of featuring numerous Deadpool 3 cameos and Easter eggs. Therefore, there is no need to add unnecessary pressure with a post-credits scene.

Additionally, the upcoming film after Deadpool and Wolverine is set to be Captain America: Brave New World in 2025. However, there are no connections between the two films, so there is no need for any setup.

Despite this, there is a possibility that Reynolds is simply bluffing. Back in April, Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, hyped up the post-credits scene of the third movie, claiming it to be “mind-blowing”. Therefore, it is difficult to predict what may actually occur.

The highly anticipated film, Deadpool and Wolverine, will hit theaters on July 26.
