One Fortnite player has astonishingly accumulated 50,000 V-Bucks, and here’s their strategy.
In addition to directly purchasing V-Bucks, players can earn this in-game currency by participating in Save the World and completing missions within that mode.
While the V-Bucks rewards per mission in Save the World may not be substantial, consistent gameplay and mission completion can lead to significant savings over time. One dedicated player achieved a remarkable total of 50,070 V-Bucks, leaving the Fortnite community amazed.
Sharing a screenshot of their impressive V-Bucks total in a Reddit thread, they remarked, “After years of not buying anything except battle passes, I did it. I’m a hoarder.”

The player noted, “I obviously have Save the World and play it frequently; I can’t remember what the last thing I bought in the shop was, probably years ago; I did buy Jack Sparrow and a few gifts along the way though.”
When asked about the first Battle Pass they purchased, the user mentioned it was Chapter 1, Season 3, which they acquired for just 10 V-Bucks before investing in Save the World. Since the chapter launched in 2018, it took nearly six years for them to achieve this incredible V-Bucks savings.
Many players in the comments applauded the user’s commitment to saving their V-Bucks without splurging on skins, although some expressed a hint of envy.
One commenter said, “Dang, that’s a lot of V-Bucks! PROPS for saving and not spending.”
Another user added, “My kids would go berserk if they saw this.”
A different player shared, “Oh, how I understand you. I once managed to save up 3,000 V-Bucks for myself, and that was because there was nothing interesting in the store. Respect for not pulling the trigger on any items in the store.”
The great advantage of Save the World is that players not only earn V-Bucks through missions, but they can also acquire cosmetics by purchasing the pack.
