- Minute Maid Lemonade Poppers: These strawberry fruit-flavored popping boba pearls are combined with real strawberries and served over ice with refreshing Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade.
- Introducing Sprite Strawberry Poppers – a refreshing treat featuring popping boba pearls bursting with strawberry fruit flavor, combined with real strawberries and Sprite served over ice.
- Strawberry Mini Shake Poppers: A delightful combination of real strawberries and strawberry fruit flavored popping boba pearls served in a classic vanilla shake.
Upon their initial release in February 2024, these drinks were part of a Valentine’s Day collection featuring red and pink hues. They quickly gained popularity among customers.
When the well-known food blogger Snackolator shared the re-release on July 25, followers of the strawberry-popping boba drinks were ecstatic and expressing their excitement in the comments.
“One customer commented that they have ordered the strawberry Sprite so frequently that the cashier now recognizes them as a regular and they simply say ‘the usual’.”

Despite its popularity, one drawback of Del Taco is that it is considered a regional chain due to its limited presence in only 15 states, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. It should be noted that the majority of its locations are in California.
