Laios is approached by a mysterious figure who delivers a foreboding message about the “magician’s eye.”This encounter leaves Laios feeling disturbed, and he shares the details with Marcille and the rest of the group. Suddenly, Marcille detects the presence of a tiny dragon in the vicinity and quickly positions Chilchuk against the wall. To everyone’s surprise, the wall absorbs Chilchuk, leaving Senshi and Laios perplexed.
Taking advantage of the wall’s peculiar characteristics, Marcille and her team manage to flee to a different section. Subsequently, Laios and his entire group feast on the dungeon cleaners for their meal.
During the meal, Laios reveals his recent struggles with hallucinations, leading Chilchuk to recommend seeking medical assistance once they return above ground. Unexpectedly, a giant spider captures Laios in its web, while members of Shuro’s group appear and capture Marcille, Chilchuk, and Senshi. In the midst of the tense situation, Shuro’s companion Maizuru suggests extreme actions, but Shuro steps in to stop them.
Upon spotting Laios, Shuro makes an effort to connect with him through light-hearted conversation, causing Kabru to be taken aback when he greets Laios. As Laios converses with Shuro, Kabru confides in Rin about their encounter, admitting to hesitations in confronting Laios. Kabru speculates about the possibility of Laios’s innocence in regards to the stolen treasure and advises Rin to hold off on taking any action.
Shuro brings Laios up to date on their dungeon adventures, while Chilchuk adds some humor to the conversation. Shuro explains the roles of the female members in their group and expresses regret for not being present. Upon hearing that they have returned to the dungeon, Shuro and Kabru are amazed by Marcille’s revelation that she defeated the Red Dragon.
As Shuro inquires about Falin’s well-being, he suddenly collapses from starvation. Laios insists that he eats and, during the meal, promises to update Shuro on their recent adventures. Shuro delegates the task of meal preparation to Maizuru. Laios proposes dividing into groups for efficiency, with Maizuru in charge of organizing magical defenses. The sixteenth episode of Delicious in Dungeon concludes with Falin, a hybrid monster, expressing her determination to find Lord Delgal.
