In episode 21 of Delicious in Dungeon, the focus shifts to Kabru and Shuro’s party as they emerge from their battle with Falin. Despite their initial plans to rest, they abruptly change their course upon spotting a Western Elf ship, hastening their journey to the surface.

Kabru remembers the elves’ past involvement in dungeon crises and is filled with dread at the thought of history repeating itself and his hometown being destroyed. This sense of urgency drives him and Shuro to the Lord’s house, hoping to intervene before it is too late.

Upon reaching their destination, they come across Namari, who is waiting outside. This signals that discussions between the elves and the Lord have been ongoing, further increasing Kabru’s concerns.

The elves are each depicted with a unique presence, emphasizing their comprehensive approach to managing dungeons. Kabru’s memories of the elves’ extreme actions and the number of casualties in his hometown emphasize the seriousness of the elves’ involvement.

Upon discovery, it is revealed that one of the leaders responsible for the dungeon near Kabru’s hometown had taken him in when he had no other options left. This serves as a testament to the elves’ underlying concern in these situations.

The 21st episode of Delicious in Dungeon continues with the dungeon party, revealing a surprising twist: the ghostly figure that Laios had been seeing in his hallucinations is actually a real entity. Izutsumi continuously detects an unknown presence, causing Laios to come to the realization that the ghost he had dismissed as a figment of his imagination is, in fact, genuine.

The ghostly figure, who had previously rescued them, now asks for their help and leads them to the Golden Country, a charming village nestled among serene fields and a towering castle.

Despite the peaceful facade, the group discovers that the villagers are immortal and do not need to eat, having lived in a monotonous routine for over a thousand years. They go about their daily tasks solely to preserve their sanity.

The chapter concludes with Chilchuck and Marcille’s anxiety over the idea of Laios as their savior, as his nonchalant demeanor and fixation on cooking monsters raises doubts about his abilities.
