Netflix

The confirmation of the second season came immediately after the finale of Season 1. As a result, the sequel is currently in production, though it is uncertain when the finished product will be released.

Season 1 of Delicious in Dungeon can only be found on Netflix, and it is expected that the same will apply to Season 2. The streaming giant will most likely release it upon its premiere. However, there has been no announcement on whether Netflix will be the only platform to offer the show.

Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 trailer

The initial teaser for the second season of Delicious in Dungeon was unveiled on June 13, 2024, which coincided with the airing of the first season’s finale.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the group’s upcoming journey to defeat the Red Dragon and save Falin. It also provides a glimpse of the season’s main villain: Thistle, also referred to as “Sissel, The Mad Sorcerer, The Lunatic Magician,”who is responsible for creating the Island’s dungeon.

Furthermore, the remainder of the trailer does not divulge any information about the upcoming season. Instead, it offers brief glimpses of select scenes from the first season.

What will happen?

The second season of Delicious in Dungeon will continue from Chapter 53, which marks the start of the First Floor Interlude Arc.

The first season, consisting of 24 episodes, covered the story from the beginning until Chapter 52. This suggests that each episode encompassed an average of two to three chapters. As a result, it is likely that the second season will cover the remaining chapters of the manga.

However, if the second season is limited to only 12 episodes, as is typical for most seasonal shows, there will likely be another season to follow.

There are still seven story arcs remaining in the manga. If Season 2 continues to follow the story, it will encompass the Dwarf City Ruins Arc, the Lunatic Magician’s House Arc, Thistle Arc, New Dungeon Lord Arc, Winged Lion Arc, and Falin Arc.

The manga is expected to span 12 episodes, which will likely cover the Thistle Arc, with the remaining content reserved for a final season.
