Delico’s Nursery anime confirms August 2024 premiere and more in new PV

On Friday, June 14, 2024, the staff of the television Delico’s Nursery anime series released a new main promotional video for the show, confirming that it would premiere in August 2024. Additionally, the staff announced the titles and artists of the opening and ending theme songs, both of which were featured in the promotional video.

The premiere of the Delico’s Nursery anime, which was initially scheduled for July 2024, has been postponed due to undisclosed reasons. As an alternative, the franchise will release four special programs weekly starting from July 10. The first three programs will showcase the stage play series, while the fourth will feature a discussion with the anime’s cast.

The Delico’s Nursery anime series is adapted from the 2009 stage play titled TRUMP, written by playwright Kenichi Suemitsu. The play premiered in Japan in 2009 and has since sparked the creation of other plays, short stories, concerts, and a manga series illustrated by Hamaguri in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine. Although Hamaguri planned to release the prequel manga, Cocoon, after the conclusion of the original on February 2, 2024, it was delayed due to health concerns.

Delico’s Nursery Anime Set to Premiere in Japan on August 8, 2024

As previously stated, Delico’s Nursery anime series is scheduled to debut in Japan on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The show will be broadcasted simultaneously on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma Television, and Tochigi Television at 12:30AM Japanese Standard Time. It will also air on MBS starting from Saturday, August 10 at 2:38AM JST. At this time, there is no confirmation on international streaming availability for the series.

Mika Nakashima will be performing the opening theme song for the anime, titled “Unfair,”while Anonymouz will be performing the ending theme song, titled “Prayer.”Both the opening and ending themes are featured in the new main promotional video for the series. The anime stars:

At J.C. Staff studios, Hiroshi Nishikiori is directing the anime with Suemitsu overseeing the scripts and series composition, as well as being credited as the original creator. Yoko Ito takes on the role of chief animation director and designs the characters based on Koya’s original designs. The music for the anime is composed by Shunsuke Wada.

The gothic fantasy series is set in a universe where vampires are born into noble families and the first vampire, known as TRUMP, is rumored to possess immortality. The protagonist of the series is Dali Delico, the leader of a highly esteemed aristocratic vampire clan.
