Delivery App Fires Kick Streamers for Harassing Customers

Both Nick White and Ice Poseidon, popular streamers, were let go from a delivery app due to their reported behavior of “harassing”customers while streaming.

Over the years, there have been multiple streaming trends that have sparked controversy within the community.

Despite the rise of Twitch’s hot tub and censor bar trends, there are still many content creators who stick to playing popular games like Pokemon Go in order to reach a larger audience.

In the latter part of July, Ice Poseidon and Nick White attempted to become delivery drivers for a food app, but their plans were derailed when their livestream veered off course.

During a video posted on X, Nick White can be seen picking up an order from a restaurant. However, he accidentally revealed the customer’s name and phone number when showing the receipt.

Unfortunately, things got even worse when Nick accidentally dropped the order on the ground while they were delivering it to the customer’s house. To add insult to injury, Ice Poseidon then called the customer to ask for a $10 tip, only to be abruptly hung up on.

Despite his success in garnering generous tips, Ice’s pursuit for larger tips led him to resort to deceitful tactics. On one occasion, a customer informed him that he was unable to come down from his building due to illness. In response, Ice pretended to have cancer, going as far as making a false phone call to claim he was suffering from the disease.

“Despite my current battle with cancer, I made the effort to bring the food here and leave it on the table for you. I understand you have the flu and cannot go downstairs, which is why I came across town to deliver it. However, I kindly request an additional $7 tip.”

Ultimately, the application ceased functioning for Ice Poseidon, prompting him to contact the company and communicate with a representative.

“The employee explained that your account is currently inactive due to harassment, which resulted in its deactivation.”

Despite being unhappy, Ice Poseidon threatened to take legal action for “wrongful termination”and was promptly hung up on.

Despite its potential for causing harm by exposing random customers’ personal information, it seems unlikely that the food delivery industry will become the next big thing.

Despite the controversy surrounding both Ice Poseidon and Nick White’s content, Kick has not yet banned either of them. Nick White is even still planning his own $100K Hunger Games-style competition for later this summer.
