Delta Force Introduces Simplified Leveling Up – Short-Lived Changes Ahead

<p>The latest update from Delta Force has stirred excitement within the gaming community as the developers, Team Jade, have temporarily lifted the experience (EXP) cap on the Season Pass. However, players should take note that this change is set to revert once Season 1 concludes on January 19, 2025.

Typically, players face a weekly limit of 235,000 EXP, meaning any additional points earned beyond this threshold do not count towards Season Pass progression. This cap has long been a source of frustration for players who desire more freedom to enhance their gameplay without imposed restrictions.

In response to this concern, Team Jade announced the removal of the EXP cap until the end of the current season. An in-game notification confirmed, “We understand that some players enjoy pursuing progression in an uncapped manner, and so we will remove the cap at the end of each season to allow players to progress as much as they like.”

With the removal of the EXP cap, players can now maximize their efforts to complete the Season Pass, unlocking various rewards. These include valuable EXP tokens, Merit Cards, Selection Packs, and an array of appealing cosmetics.

Understanding the Temporary Nature of the Changes

Despite the positive feedback regarding the lifted cap, some players are perplexed as to why Team Jade has opted for a temporary solution rather than a permanent removal.

In clarification, Team Jade stated, “Currently, our Season Pass has a weekly EXP cap… This was added so that players can enjoy Delta Force without feeling they need to ‘no-life’ the game to unlock all rewards.” The intention here is to foster a balanced and enjoyable gaming environment.

However, the restrictions of an EXP cap can paradoxically compel players to log in weekly, creating a sense of obligation rather than leisure in gameplay. This structure can hinder players who prefer to engage with the game on their own schedule.

To enhance accessibility for more casual gamers, the developers could consider alternatives such as increasing the overall experience gains or introducing special events that feature boosted experience multipliers, like Double EXP weekends or exclusive playlists with higher EXP rewards.

Ultimately, players are encouraged to take advantage of the current uncapped experience situation to expedite their progress through the Season Pass. Utilizing effective weapon loadouts, such as the M4A1 or CAR-15—both of which are highlighted as top choices—can significantly accelerate this process.
